have a Bose system and it is really quite terrible. 9" woofers in the doors are mounted inside out (backwards) with no bass to speak of, just one note boom....The Mazda sales rep really pushed this system as a huge benefit for the car, when I stated that I could care less about Bose, she acted like I must be from Mars....When I explained my feelings about Bose & and also stated that Miata's are all about driving, and not so much about listening to tunes...she backed off a bit.
