It won't be wise for Amazon to compete with Apple in digital downloads. As it is not wise for Apple to compete with Amazon or CD Universe by offering classical music downloads.CD is not dead, it is just getting smaller. No longer a format for pop music, it is there for the forseeable future in classics and jazz.
