"There must be a few non-over processed pop recordings - any worth seeking out in your opinion?"Very few in recent time.... And I've mentioned them in the past.
The most notable one, albeit more "rock" than "pop", is the Who- "Endless Wire"....
Some other good ones are Nickel Creek- "Why Should the Fire Die", Aleks Syntek- "Mundo Lite", and anything by Ian Thomas.
