At least Todd's response is more reasonable than yours, read it for context. You refer to yourself as a 'software engineer' yet the subtleties of timeslicing on audio playback performance (in the context of a general purpose PC) are lost on you. It reassuring that a lot of the other posters did not respond with a dim-witted post like yours.
