G’day,I just thought for anyone who posts a lot on the Asylum it would be pretty obvious that different terms, phrases and use of the English language is expressed &/or interpreted in so many different ways that clarification, by way of asking the seller, of any terms & conditions for any sale was mandatory?
In my time perusing the Asylum I have learnt if I make a simple post stating “the house down the road from me is white†it will be interpreted at least six ways;
• Some inmates will think the house down the road from me is white.
• Some inmates will think the house down the road from me is black.
• Some inmates won’t have the first damn clue as to what I’m talking about
• Some inmates will think I’m a racist.
• Some inmates will be positive I live in Washington
• Some inmates will be positive I live in a high-rise apartmentSo when it comes to making purchases online, especially with second-hand goods, questions must be asked to give absolute clarity to the proposed transaction.
