Acapella super tweeter: produces toxic ozone or not?

i posted on the hi freq forum but not a lot of replies, and saw the one on audiogon, so try here. my research shows the consurmer reports says the air cleaners that deliberately produce ozone are toxic. The question is if Acapella removes the ozone, as it claims, in its chamber.
but it is only a claim. cant find anyone who can confirm.
can any give me a LINK or uses and has researched this. convinced it is the best tweeter, but not want to forfeit health if ozone coming out.
if can't find confirmation, then will skip it for another option. but thot try one last time. thx for any help
