It is a big risk to a private seller to say anything different.My typical add runs like this:
Component XYZ, condition 7/10. Functionaly perfect except whatever. Cosmetically the only significant defect is whatever. I will arrange shipment via such-and-such carrier, insured and signature required; the buyer will assume the cost and risk of shipping. The buyer will also pay duty, taxes, and brokerage, if any. As a private seller, I cannot offer any warranty.
If this sounds like to much risk to you, don't buy from me. So far most of my buyers have been very pleased.
