Hey, sorry, didn't mean to cause a fuss. I've been working with electrical power and control systems for quite a while. Double insulated simply means that the electrical supply cord is insulated, and that the device the cord is connected to is assumed to be non-conducting. Sort of like your plastic bodied electric drill. Mind you, take it outside in a rainstorm, things might be different...Cheers
