Trinity at Cambridge has a good reputation for mathematics and sciences, both in terms of the subject-matter covered and in the way the use of a student’s brain is encouraged to be developed...Even if perhaps not quite as obviously as at Oxford(!), your lad is also likely to circulate with others of evidently operational intelligence, which will naturally help “stretch†his personal abilities...
On returning to the US, one hopes that your son will experience the legacy of an intelligent perception following such previous Harvard notables as (mathematician!) Tom Lehrer, rather than that of a more recent product of Harvard Business School who currently holds a position of some political importance in your country...
I hope that your lad will do both himself and “The Crimson†proud...
