I picked up an ol' Marantz DR-1 cd burner for $100 e-bay bucks. It has level adjustment and plugs in to any fixed pre-out. I have made many LP's to CD and it works very well.I find it captures some of the LP magic, but lacks the dimension and
texture. You just have to watch for saturation.Good luck.
