A friend asked me about copying his old records to digital format, and I'm wondering if this $70 converter from DAK will do a decent job. As you can tell from the horrible graphics on their website, DAK is a pretty schlocky outfit, but they're not fly-by-night, and for the price this seems like a workable option. Is there something better that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? My friend doesn't want to spend much more than $100 - $150 tops.
