I used to own the '701s and never had that particular problem--in fact, I preferred the slighly looser headgrip of the 701s over the Senns--but you're not the only one to have such difficulties. You might want to post this over at Head-Fi (www.head-fi.org). Whatever headphone-related question you have, you'll find an answer for it there.
