People are being sued who have never engaged in illegal file-sharing, who have never had any such software on their computers. The RIAA is doing everything they can, in suits they see they have to drop, to avoid paying the legal fees of folks they have sued wrongly. Who have had their IP addresses spoofed, or whose wireless connections have been used without their knowledge or consent, some hacked into.Got a flowchart for that?
If people would stop engaging in copyright infringement, others wouldn't incorrectly be calling it stealing, either. The illegal file-sharing is the biggest wrong in all of this, but there are plenty of other, secondary wrongs too. I don't understand anyone who excuses or condones illegal file-sharing, but calling it theft doesn't help anyone.
