Actually you can do some "controlled virtual wandering" with some of the online stores (check cdbaby.com for example, not only "virtual wandering" but indie labels from groups you may have never heard of...)However, I do miss the fun of the local shops where, like in "Cheers!", everybody knows your name and you can just spelunk through different titles and genres and have someone say "Hey! You might like this new one that came in..."
