I have a pair of Ambience Superslim 1800se (kindly check them out at www.ambiencespeakers.com.au) and I have very similar configuration with several GIK Acoustic Panels behind them (including one Monster Trap 7.5" total thickness) Sound is much better in every sense. In total I have 7 GIK Acoustic Panels strategically place behind and around the speakers and subwoofer, great results. Best, Antonio Machado.
