Maybe custom servie in the Hi-End is a thing of the past?

I've been tring to contact two fairly reputable hi-end companies for the past two months via e-mails without any success. One in U.K. an the other in the U.S. Like others have stated, with the money you are paying, you would expect some level of service. Maybe they've all cut back staff to keep cost down???
