"They do it because they are ignorant. Plain and simple. Most folks don't write very well because they were never required to do so in elementary and jr./sr. high school. The lack of punctuation, no paragraph breaks, and run-on sentences are rife on the Internet. I don't waste my time reading stuff by folks who can't be bothered to use proper grammar and punctuation.
They rarely post anything of value anyway...
