I find long posts to be the hobgoblins on weak positions on any given subject.One of the many tenants of good writting is to always consider your audience. I for one consider most here to be well versed as an audiophile, hence long down out (diarrhea of the keeboard) entrys just bore the snot out of most us.
News flash for all you novel writters, nobody actually reads your entire post, we just skim over it looking for key points and more than likely, go right to the end to see if you've actually managed to say anything worth while.
Brevity is a beautiful thing. It takes a whole lot more thought to write something in it's entirety briefly, than endlessley prattle all over the place.
Brief good, verbose bad...
