It does help in the car. Dunno about home, though, but I'd give it a try.Wifey heard it (both in and out) and wanted one just like it. What wifey wants, wifey (usually) gets.
The only reason we went aftermarket in he first place was to get a front panel "Aux" jack for our Sansas. This BBE stuff was a bonus.
Funny, the newer version of this radio (GT-310) doesn't offer this but it does cost $20 less.
