Based on the posts below and the manufacturer's website, this product does NOT correct the amplifier-speaker interface. It appears to provide a simulated correction based on a guess regarding the speaker performance limitations. User adjustments modify the parameters of this guess, but do not change the assumed context (miserable PA speakers in a large venue).

Back-EMF is a characteristic of all dynamic speakers (ie, those using magnetic force to propel drivers) and is not a problem per se. Back-EMF is a part of the electrodynamic damping. Dynamic speakers differ in the amounts of electrodynamic damping they require to achieve optimum phase and amplitude performance, and amplifiers differ in the amounts of damping they provide. Thus, selecting the best amplifier for a given speaker is not a trivial problem. If your amplifiers do not work well with your speakers, the improvement offered by this product is a partial fix only and IMO you should investigate a better match.
