Re: Verifying copy and some comments/additional guidelines

With the EAC software, this "correctness" is a given as a CRC is generated for the original track and the copied track to very "exactness"...hence the name. A lot of programs (i.e. Nero) will use a burst copy mode that allows a copy that is actually different from the orginal.

P.S. This polarity thing is now going down the path of DBT usage guidelines to ensure the veil of impartiality. The "Test" is constucted more along the line of "long term" listening used to gauge subtle effects...so trust your gut. You only have to convince yourself and you have all the time in the world to do so.

To those who hear it, great, state your playback setup and system. To those that do not hear it, geat, state your playback setup/system as well.

To the detractors, my experience is that these sorts of things tend to get masked by the ears tendency to fuse two almost-like sounds during A/B type of testing.
