Doobie Brothers spent so much time recording tracks for the Minute By Minute album, they had literally boxes of 2" 24 track tape stacked to the ceiling for ONE SONG. Beach Boys spent 6 MONTHS on just the vocals for the Pet Sounds album. Those are but two examples of how much work goes into producing great music. Those albums are timeless classics for a reason. They are musical masterpieces. Wonder how many folks will be talking about "50 cent", Coolio, 2pac, Eminem, Dr Dre, or Nymphomania recordings 30 to 40 years from now?
