EAC never impressed me sonically-speaking. Note that all these utilities produce files that seem identical as data, but they sound so different.....Meanwhile, I may have already found both a rip and burn utility I prefer over what I initially recommended. Sony CD Architect 5.2 for the burner ($$), Free CD Ripper 1.5.3 for the ripper.
