I have to agree with DevillEars!
That's exactly the system that got me hooked with MUSIC. Except I got a B&W 303 instead of the Diamond. It's a very musical system and a great way to spend less than a grand to enjoy music that is too good than it has any right to.
Although this also started me into the common affliction of all of us here... audio nervosa. Be careful what you ask for devil dog. Once you get down this path there's no turning back. First, what a difference a cable makes, I wonder what will happen if I cryo'd all of them?... Can a tube preamp really make it more muscial?... I wonder how much difference a NOS tube would make?... Is my stuff properly isolated?... bass traps or room lens?... Mono blocks?... 300B SETs?... Single driver?
Believe me when you are loving what you're hearing, you are already 2 steps ahead of me. Stop and just enjoy the music. It's so easy to forget that given all the stuff we read about equipments we don't have.
