There is another way. Run a google search for "nasal irrigator" this is a kit which has cone shaped rubber pcs which fit on the end of WATER PIK wands. Make a mild solution of warm water and salt, set the WP on low to med, place the rubber cone in one nostril over the sink. As you run the unit, the saline solution will fill the sinuses and then run out the other side. Use half the water for one side and then switch to the other. Regular use of this, like 2 or 3 times a day and especially followed with a spray such as Nasacort will keep your sinuses open and will clear the eustacian tubes shortly. It has always worked well for me. Good luck and hope this helps.
