I agree, it's nice to have a good local dealer!! My dealers are pretty good about it with the exception of speakers.They will do speakers, but it's kind of a pain for them and the risk of "dings" is higher. I generally operate under the assumption that if I "ding" it - I either bought it or at least owe the "ding" damage to make the dealer whole.
If I really like a speaker and am REALLY interested, they will allow an in home demo. But personally, I have to feel pretty sure I am ready to buy and am just confirming my decision if I ask for an in home demo of speakers.
