An audiophile is a person who loves to listen to recorded music.Finding new music you like is always a delight.
A persnickety audiophile will want the best sounding recording he can afford.
The StereoEquipmentPhile will want the best sounding audio equipment he can afford.
But if you can't find new music, this hobby could become boring.
I know BabyBoomers will be buying remastered-yet-again versions of Jimi Hendrix recordings when they are drooling on themselves in nursing homes decades from now ... but the music will still be the same as we first heard on vinyl in the 1960's. Real music lovers always want to discover new music.
Satellite radio can help with that.
