Re: Anyone have experience with stone fireplace surrounds

Stoned fireplace surrounds are a great idea. You want to make sure the left, center and right channels are at the same height for best dispersion. Plus, if your fireplace is truely surround, you will have to have metal chairs with no fabric to withstand the heat. But it adds a new dimension to THX. If you're like me (which, hopefully you are not), you will find yourself spending less time enjoying an actual fire in the fireplace and more time getting in touch with the music. Good luck!
