. . . if you're into good 'ol rock & roll, of course. If you want to hear power pop at its absolute zenith, look no further than Badfinger and Big Star. I'm especially fond of Badfinger. IMHO, their sense of melody and songcraft was right up there with the Beatles, a band that many deaf, dumb, and blind critics called them shameless imitators of.For hard rock, IMO it doesn't get much better than Thin Lizzy. If you appreciate loud guitars and great lyrics, Lynott & Co. should give you many hours of listening bliss.
