I also think a big problem is the data isn't being handled nearly as cleanly as it should be. In certain respects, SACD sounds very similar to "lossless" compression. True resolution should never sound artificially "detailed", but simply more-natural, where the brain just notices more going on in the music.Or in other words, many people mistake an etched top or "in your face" hyperdetail for resolution. True detail/resolution never calls attention to itself.
