Thanks for sharing your positive experiences. I'm not saying that all dealers do a poor job only that some shops on my initial visit have let me down. The shops I referred to are some distance away and perhaps if I visited them often I would have become a known customer and treated as such. I just feel that they could do a better job of making a good first impression.

The dealer in the thread below which you referred to has indicated that he has reached a point in his career where he can pick and choose and that is his right, good for him. But his advertising is a bit sophomoric and misleading in that it does not reflect his discriminating business model, IMO. I've been on the receiving end of his impatience and it was within minutes of his answering my call but I purchased from him anyway. What burns me is the way he defends his well-documented attitude, which is his right to do also, it just doesn't reflect reality and hints at total denial. He blames the customer which is wrong in my opinion.
