I completely agree with Shaun's assessment of KEXP. The stream quality can't be considered "audiophile" by any stretch of the imagination, but the station is an invaluable resource for music fans.I don't follow contemporary music, but what little I hear filtering in from TV and FM radio is faceless, unimaginative, unchallenging and empty. But just when I've written off modern music altogether, I tune into KEXP or a small handful of other top-notch college stations and hear that good, even great, music is still being made. It's just being ignored by commercial radio and the major labels.
