This is my third house offering that flexibility. Wife can watch the HT while I zone out on music. Allows optimum speaker (eight feet out from back wall) / couch placement and eliminates worry about kids tripping over speaker and power cabling. I wouldn't want forest of bass traps in living room.Separate HT system can always provide background music.
