I just spent 4 months with a balanced Mogami cable while I searched for and imported an obscure cable from Europe. I found the Mogami to be rolled off at both at both frequency extremes. Now, since 90% of studios are wired with Mogami, is it any wonder why modern recordings are plagued with fat, boomy bass and hyped, ear-bleeding treble?
And most of the techs insist that there is no difference between cables. Go figure.
