I've bought various software and hardware from MD for almost a decade with excellent service and problem free returns, if necessary.
In particular, in ca. 1999 I bought about $4.5K+ of analogue-related equipment from them - no problems; enjoyed the equipment. In 2006, I bought a ~$4K(MSRP) tube phono pre-amp. I returned the unit because it did not work well in my set-up. No problem; the return was handled with dispatch.
Although my purchases were not at the same price points you mention, if I were in the market for any of those units, I would not hesitate to acquire them from MD (assuming no local dealer stocked them).
