Supposedly, one should not mix the AC used between your digital components, and your other components. I am not sure if this applies to AC run through power regeneration or filtering units though. (But I would "guess" so.)I don't use any sort of power regeneration or filtering myself, however, I do have three separate dedicated circuits, and I have one for my digital equipment (including my own Opus 21 - nice cdp btw!), one for my amps and one for my other equipment (i.e. turntable, tuner and preamp).
However, you might want to experiment and take the Opus 21 off the Ultimate Outlet and see if it sounds any better (or even different).
