I'm not going to be buying both so please give me your opinion.My experience with Sheffield CDs is that their vinyl records sounded better.
I assume the main reason is the CD's used a tape recorder and the vinyl did not, although there may be other explanations.
I have heard CDs that sound better, IMHO, than any direct-to-disc vinyl I have ever heard, so I can't blame the disappointing Sheffield CD sound quality on the CD recording medium itself.
