Although this whole natural/real thing is rather ambiguous, it's worth noting that processing is more a reality in audio, film, and video than most will acknowledge.

I'll stop before this turns into my rant on so-called purist (not to be confused with minimalist). For clarity, examples of pet purist issues are colorizing films and allowing their precious songs to be used in commercials.
