Look, I merely wanted to let you know that one can accomplish polarity inversion in a component without another gain stage, that very fine bananas exist, that many folks only hear a "rather vague, variable and mild" effect due to their loudspeakers, and that your characterization of the hassle factor is way off. I had no intention of altering your "list of audio triggers for the illusion of realism" in any way, particularly since our discussion really has nothing to do with that. So, lighten up.
