...this isn't rec.audio.high-end, as you well know, which is controlled by the ABX-cult. When we last debated there a couple of years ago, IIRC, you were outed with your new fake moniker and disappeared again. So it's deja vu all over again here on AA. Retirement doesn't seem to have mellowed you one bit...The way I see it, you have two choices - the low road or the high road:
Low road - You can be an instigator of dissension and stir up controversy here like poking a stick in a hornet's nest to fuel the endless objectivist/subjectivist DBT debate. You seem to be taking this approach and getting some sick satisfaction from it. Not befitting a man of your stature and reputation, IMO.
High Road - with your experience and knowledge you could actually provide some resources and education here for everyone on these important issues. But that requires you provide links to published studies and actual evidence to back up all of your Opinion-Stated-As-Fact's. No more pigeon-posting - flying in and making a quick drop. This might require a little more work on your part, but it could go a long way to stopping these endless debates and bringing the two sides together with a common base of scientific knowledge on the subject.
The choice is yours.
