that's great. if they sound like the D-9 -- these new ones are probably better -- then as a party speaker that's insanely a good price -- the D9 was $999 Canadian but back then the dollar was close to par with the US dollar...not accurate but again could play really loud and had the right kind of bass for rock dance trrance etcWhy pay for classical reproduction if you don't listen to it??? Besides I've heard exactly no florstander form anyone under $2k that sounds particularly good anyway. The B&W 604S3 is good but it ain;t going to do what the Cerwin Vega can do at anywhere near the drive levels -- and the Cerwin is 1/4 the price LOL. you could buy FOUR sets of them for 8.1 surround sound (no subwoofers need apply) tell me this would be FUN FUN FUN. And when that dinosaur in JP squashes a car you'll need to change underwear!!! COOL MAN!!
