I have never in my life stated or believed that all amplifiers sound the same.I have merely concluded from the limited available evidence including my own participation in group blind auditions that many differences thought to be heard among solid state amplifiers that are not clipping are really meaningless small SPL differences (described as sound quality differences) or imagined differences.
