I can't say...

Chris,

I can't say with absolute certainty that differences b/w amps are always 100% inaudible as I've not listened to every amp. I'm only expressing my view that differences, if they exist, are very very very very very very small.

I have excellent measured hearing AND (IMHO) excellent listening skills that have been honed by a lifetime obsession with music. I hear nuance and understand it's importance in enjoying music. Yet, stuggle as I do to hear differences b/w components, I often read posts from AA members that they not only hear these differences but that they are HUGE and easily rise to the level where one amp(or cable, or DAC, or speaker stand) "blows another away". I can't help but be totally chagrined when I read this (IMHO) hogwash. I find it to be pure hyperbole.

Yet when I listen to different speakers, I have absolutely NO difficulty discerning difference AND making a decision as to which sounds more like real (ie., live) music.
