Vinyl to Computer to iPod?

I've read somewhere (maybe this site) that there's a computer software that allows one to hook a turntable straogjt to a computer to record the music and then transfer that to iTunes to eventually download to an iPod.
Does anyone out there know what this program is called and where I might be able to purchase it? I would love to be able to record some of my records onto an iPod.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
