I get XM and although I'm happy with the sound, it's not up to par with what my system is capable of. You're right, it's about the programming and not the sound quality but it really is very listenable, in my opinion. Some of the channels do sound better than the others.... have you noticed that too? For some reason that "Watercolors" smooth jazz channel is usually pretty good but my favorite that plays classic rock isn't so great. Hmmm. Wonder why some channels sound better than the others.
