Unfortunately, you've made a huge error in judgement by disclosing that temperature also plays a part in skin effect due to changing temperature (outside normal ambient ranges). I can see it coming: a completely new line of audiophile speaker cables and interconnects, superheated to just below the melting point of copper so as to increase resistance in order to reduce skin effect.

Hehehe.

No need to resort to such drastic measures. Just use an alloy that has a significantly higher resistivity that copper or silver.

Kanthal A-1 comes to mind. And UK audio cable maker Black Rhodium uses pure nickel conductors in some of their stuff. I also believe Dave Magnand did something similar. And of course van den Hul sold very high reistance carbon fiber sparkplug wire as audio cable.
