a resonance will be excited even if the driving freq. is not = to the natural freq of the system. if there's a mechanical-elctrical coupling, consider that a higher order harmonics can occur and extend to the RF you mention (maybe?). For ex. try hitting a table at 1 Hz and youll measure signals in the 100-1000Hz...you know, impulse signal and their FTs.... most of the esoteric claims related to cables, ICs, etc. are BS though, and the significance of the differences and measurables are questionable at best and imaginary but real :-).
