The key is thick foam... all over everything

When you box stuff, package it carefully, then pack THAT box into a bigger box with at least 2" preferably 3" of a medium density foam material on all six sides of the box. Such a box can take a 30 foot drop... (not with a big amp....) and is somewhat immune to vibrations.
If I was gonna move, it is how I would pack the electronics and analog stuff.
Most towns have a foam dealer. (really) and ask to have some sheets of medium density cut to 3" thick rolls
Or see what it looks and feels like, it may be ok with 2" or 2 1/2" What you want is: squeeze it with your fingers, it should give easy at first, but to squeeze it flat between two fingers is hard to do.
If you can squeeze it flat without effort it is too soft. If it is hard to do after a half inch it is too firm
