Re: It's 14 gauge, orange with black stripe, extension cord

There was no mention of Carol Cable in the Review. The reviewer, Paul Seydor, terminated the HDs with Pomona bananas. I used Radio Shack nickel-plated spades. There are (obviously) three wires in these extension cords -- black, white, and green. I stripped the orange covering back about 4 inches, cut off the green wire, and treated the other two to the Radio Shack spades, using heat shrink to make things neater (and treating the ends with Caig Pro Gold and Walker SST).

If I were you, I'd try single-wiring first, using short lengths of the same cable as jumpers. These things replaced older-model Omega Mikro Planar (copper foil) speaker cables in my system. They're the real thing. Contact me offline if you'd like to know more.
