A power cord is part of the power supply. The better power supply you have, you become proportionally less dependent on the power cord. Maybe, Naims idea is to sell power supplies instead of power cords. Other manufactures, do not provide access whereby an external power supply can be plugged in. So the only thing you can do is change the power cord.
